Tom's Tuesdays

Madame Presdient the Vice President here with another weekly post of mine.
Classes start in 2 weeks and one day. I'm going to talk about how a few different anime clubs I know run.

First I'll go back to my old high school club, which just showed episdoe 1 of a random series(names where drawn from a hat and names put in the hat were supposed to have roughly an equal number of each genre so we wouldn't show the same style each time. This was done so each week people could see new shows.

A friend of mine when running his college anime club, they did the same style as the high school but on a larger scale. not just two episodes by 4-6. They switched it up and had people vote on the series and then showed two full series. Each series they showed episdoe 1 of they had club members offer ideas and vote, if people had the dvd it would have more pull. People would vote at the end of the meeting that way the Exec board could watch episdoe 1 ahead of time if they thought it might be an issue.

URI has in the past shown 3 episodes of one series followed by 3 episodes of another. These would be voted on by either the exec board or the members. at one point we showed one episdoe before the meeting of a series currently airing so people could see if they wanted to watch it.
Last year changed it up for Thursdays and showed 1 episdoe of an anime then an activity followed by 2 episodes of another anime.

What style do you think is the best for a club to do? Or what did clubs you were in before do?
