Hello everyone, this week I'm going to talk about the magic like abilities from Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer a manga which I highly endorse(see my review here for further information). The abilities the characters use are not magical in nature but the ways that they are used are close enoguh for the purpose of this article. As always SPOILERS AHEAD

Anime Review: Bleach
Hi everyone, once again it is my turn to review an anime and since toonami is airing the final episode of the English dub this weekend I figured the time was right to review Bleach. The series is long (over 300 episodes) and as a result this review will cover the earlier part of the series. The major premise of Bleach is the adventures of high school student Ichigo Kurosaki after he becomes a Shinigami and begins defending his friends from evil ghosts.

Manga Review: Jitsu wa Watashi wa
Hi everyone, once again it's my turn to review a manga(my favorite of the weekly assignments). This week our topic is Jitsu wa Watashi wa which translates to "the truth is I'm a ...". It follows a high school student who is horrible at keeping secrets who finds out that his crush is an airheaded vampire and quickly finds himself protecting the secrets of several other classmates. The plot follows the chaos that ensues as each of the characters tries to enjoy a normal high school life despite their secrets and dysfunctional personalities.

Meandering Mondays: Geek Life: part 1 Gaming club
Now that we've completed our voting for our first fall lineup I figured I'd mention some of the other organizations that are part of Geek Life on campus. The four members of Geek Life and the Gaming club, Qudditch Team, Humans versus Zombies and the Anime club. This week I'm going to to go over the basics of the Gaming club and their subsidiary activity as the URI Poke'mon League.

Anime Review: K
So this week's topic is K often called K project to make it easier to identify and search for. We watched this in club last year and it was a hit so let's get down to business. The basic premise of the series is following the main character Shiro as he becomes involved in a conspiracy amongst the seven Kings and their vassals. Each King has powerful abilities which are granted to their followers which they use to pursue their own goals.
