Anime Review: Fate/Zero

For this week's anime review, I decided to check out a series I recently picked up that's proven to be one of the more interesting takes on ancient mythology I've seen: Fate/Zero.

Anime Review: Bleach

Hi everyone, once again it is my turn to review an anime and since toonami is airing the final episode of the English dub this weekend I figured the time was right to review Bleach.  The series is long (over 300 episodes) and as a result this review will cover the earlier part of the series.  The major premise of Bleach is the adventures of high school student Ichigo Kurosaki after he becomes a Shinigami and begins defending his friends from evil ghosts.

Anime Review: Angel Beats!

The first time I saw Angel Beats!, I marathoned the first half with my best friend from home.  We then got together to watch the second half (we have a bad habit of starting things at 10pm or later, which doesn't lend itself to marathoning, since we get tired and fall asleep.

Anyways, Angel Beats! is a fantastic anime.  It has a good mix of comedy and seriousness, and occasional tear-jerking scenes.  The overall concept is really cool, and each episode has a different self-contained plot that brings us closer to a conclusion.

Anime Review: Gosick

Hi everyone, sorry about posting so late I've been sick for a few days now and had a few exams this week.  Now to get down to business this week's topic is Gosick, which follows a high school student in a small European nation during the 1920s as he interacts with a mysterious girl genius.

This week was pretty fun!

Starting off: Random Anime (DeathNote episode 1)
Then we moved on to Noragami Episodes 7 and 8.
We had a bit of fun with a quiz ( http://www.funtrivia.com/submitquiz.cfm?quiz=338688 ).  We managed to get them all right working together.
Finally, we wrapped it up with Cowboy Bebop episodes 8, 9, and 10.

Anime Review: My Little Monster

I was browsing crunchroll about a year ago when I happened to find this show.  One episode later, I was hooked.  My Little Monster (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun) is a short, funny rom-com.  Slapstick humor, occasional seriousness, and learning about friendship are the main points in this series.
