Twelfth Week Trivia

Because of the propagation of the historical myth that the pilgrims and Native Americans shared a meal at some point in time - impossible as we know, as the native populaces of the Americas were scourged by the Egyptians in 1772 - the order of the days has been switched on the blog! Deal with it.  No wait, I was just wrong.

At any rate, for those of you who did not hear and do indeed read this, this coming Thursday meeting will not have trivia. Instead, we will be watching the preview clips for the show in groups of four and voting on the new shows. For this purpose, anyone present may vote.

Furthermore, we will have finished all of our Sunday shows by our last Sunday meeting, so you'll be experiencing a sampler of the lesser known Yasuhiro Yoshiura, a nicely distinct director. That is, you'll be watching Pale Cocoon and Time of Eve.

First Week Trivia

As a courtesy and for those interested, trivia questions will be posted here, on the front page of the blog, after each week. This first week was tough - but just recall last years questions relating to the type of car Yotsuba's father drove in the Yotsuba& manga. At any rate, it goes to show that 1 is easy, 3 is fairly difficult, and 5 is very, very difficult. In coming weeks, there will be less of a recency bias, however.
