The Weekly W: Waylaid!

As you may have noticed, I got a little confused this week and forgot that it was Wednesday, so here's a late post.  I would say I was waylaid by something important, but I just got lost on the path of life and never made it to the blog.  So this week, we'll look at some anime characters getting waylaid on their journeys!

First up: Kakashi Hatake from Naruto

Often tardy, his excuses for being late are always interesting, and never fail to infuriate Team 7.

Next: Ryoga Hibiki from Ranma1/2

He has no sense of direction.  Unlike your friends with no sense of direction, he gets lost while walking down the street and ends up on a long journey, which may end up with him in strange and distant locations.  This tendency to get very lost runs in the family, so they leave notes on the kitchen table to keep in touch when they manage to find their home.

Our final wandering character is Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach

Unlike some of our other characters, Kenpachi seems to wander in a very direct path towards where he thinks he should go.  He also has help with his directions.  Unfortunately for the town, he takes them very literally and often walks directly through walls to reach his destination.  It's a good thing he can sense spirit energy, otherwise he'd never find exciting sparring partners.
