Twelfth Week Trivia

Because of the propagation of the historical myth that the pilgrims and Native Americans shared a meal at some point in time - impossible as we know, as the native populaces of the Americas were scourged by the Egyptians in 1772 - the order of the days has been switched on the blog! Deal with it.  No wait, I was just wrong.

At any rate, for those of you who did not hear and do indeed read this, this coming Thursday meeting will not have trivia. Instead, we will be watching the preview clips for the show in groups of four and voting on the new shows. For this purpose, anyone present may vote.

Furthermore, we will have finished all of our Sunday shows by our last Sunday meeting, so you'll be experiencing a sampler of the lesser known Yasuhiro Yoshiura, a nicely distinct director. That is, you'll be watching Pale Cocoon and Time of Eve.

Sunday

What's With That Music In The Background?
1 - Idea (Noein)
3 - Sorairo Days (Gurren Lagann)
5 - Walking in This Empty Age (Texhnolyze)

You Talkin Bout My Waifu? The loli edition
1 - Though she's far too young to be your waifu, I'm sure she's somebodies. This agoraphobic stuffed animal enthusiast spends her time mostly on the computer, speaking for the dead. (Alice)
3 - The most moe girl possible according to boys of the show, this oblivious student council president engages in a battle of one-up-manship to sooth her inferiority complex with the local boy's school's president. She may also be named after fruit. (Ringo)
5 - A strikingly average looking anime girl - typical of character designer ABe - with short brown hair and brown eyes, this girl is one of the few bitchy female characters of her show, and acts as a tether to reality for the eponymous protagonist - though she herself eventually loses it while witnessing a self-proclaimed god trying to build himself a body. (Alice)

Sooo, What's Your Real Name?
1 - Saber, Fate/Zero (Arturia Pendragon)
3 - Fukuro, Neoin (Isami Fujiwara)
5 - Ran, Texhnolyze (Theoria)

Thursday's show was Ookami-san and Her Seven Companions. Watch it here at your leisure!

Thursday

What's With That Music In The Background?
1 - Oath Sign, Fate Zero
3 - Naisho no Hanashi, Nisemonogatari
5 - Try Unite!, Rinne no Lagrange

You Talkin Bout My Husbando?
1 - Sporting a nice mullet, this priest gone magic warrior delves into the dark depths of aestheticism at the goading of his Mesopotamian buddy.
3 - This amnesiac wakes up in a familiar yet uncanny supernatural setting surrounded by pretty girls amidst immortal combat. Wielding his Glock 9, he sets out to safe-guard against the extinction of sea urchins.
5 - Though we've never seen his eyes, this bandanna bearing man spews well-placed lyrics and song titles.

Oh no, The Fight's... You Know the Rest
1 - Episode 1, Angel Beats! (Tenshi / Kanade, Otonashi)
3 - Episode 12 - Battle, Noein (Fukuro, Karasu, Atori, Noein)
5 - Episode 20 - Hades, Texhnolyze (Toyama, Ichise)

Sunday's show was an option for next semester, the anime original Sound of the Sky - from, oddly enough, the director of Elfen Lied, if you can believe it. Watch it here on crunchyroll - or just vote for it, I dunno.
