Fanmade Saturdays - The 2nd Fic Edition

Last week on Fanmade Saturdays, I gave a couple of links to some really neat short fics.  This week I'm going to go to the other end of the spectrum.  This week, we're looking at 50,000+ words minimum.  So let's delve in!


Let's start of the list with a memorable, long AU with a magical twist.  In a world where each person has an affinity with one of the elements, and Ouran is a school for magic, how will the events of the manga be changed?

The second fic on the list is another fantastic work.  Follows Kakashi as he meets his new team and learns what it truly means to be a ninja.  This work became AU with the publishing of Kakashi Gaiden.  The sequel (which covers the ANBU years) is on hiatus.

The last fic on this week's rec list is a darker take on the premise of last week's fic.  Light never finds the DeathNote and struggles with boredom and disappointment after starting his position at the NPA.  Will anything be able to cure the apathy Light feels towards his situation?
