One of my all-time favorite anime studios is Studio Gainax, well known for their downright insane series, OVAs and films. To give a complete history of their works, influences, and impacts would be an essay in itself, so I've decided to settle for listing a few of their works that I'm particularly fond of, as well as an accompanying video to give you an idea of what each show is about.
