Madame President the Vice President here. Another Weekly post. What a surprise another Gundam post. Gundam Reconguista in GIn another of the 35th anniversary. Written and directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino the writer and director of the original Gundam series and many others. Gundam Reconguista in G is the newest series with and anime and manga both being made simultaneously. Episode 1 and 2 aired October 3, 2014. The Manga is in Gundam Ace.
Really Basic plot. People live on earth and in space and have giant space elevators to move people to and from. Some unrest exist in the world and their are pirates.
This takes place in the same universe as the original set of Gundam. Universal Century(UC). http://urichinesecartoons.blogspot.com/2014/06/toms-tuesday-4-its-gundam.html (see timeline one) Though this is set a very long time after that series. You don't need to have seen any other series to watch this. You will just notice what mobile suits were based on and a few suits in a museum.
This is airing on Fridays and I plan to watch each week as it continues for it 25 episodes.
