I hope you're all enjoying the start of summer weather. We've got some really exciting things we're working on that we'd like to share with you.
We are super-excited about our daily blogging for the summer and hope you are too! Do you have any ideas for a review of an anime, manga, or fanwork? Suggestions for improvements? Send us an email, and let us know.
We have a couple of really exciting announcements regarding emails we received today. First, our bulletin board in the Memorial Union will be relocated to the large board right next to the info desk. Our second piece of news is even more exciting. In the last few weeks, we have been searching for ways to get some neat stuff to use in club from the anime industry. We got an email back from Right Stuf Inc. regarding their anime support program, and it looks really promising. If all goes well, we might be getting some new screening discs and possibly even some promotional items. We'll keep you posted.
URI Anime Club is already starting preparations for the upcoming fall, but we are looking for input from prospective members. What are you looking for in an (anime) club? Do you have any suggestions for an event you'd like to see us do? We are really looking to update our programming to suit the needs of our members, so any input would be greatly appreciated.
